BODEGAS LÓPEZ stands
out from the Argentine wine industry as an exceptional
case: since its creation more than a hundred years ago,
it is still managed by the third and fourth generation
of the founding family,
The elaboration of the wine begins in the vineyard,
where the location, soil, climate, vines and farming
care influences the resulting wine in an important way.
The Winery plantation consists of 1.100 has. of own
vineyards. Also, every year increases its vineyards
plantation with the purpose of supplying its demand.
The cultures are located in the First Producing Zone of
Mendoza, with a total of 12 own properties: 9 in Maipú,
2 in Tupungato and 1 in Luján de Cuyo. In these areas of
origin, optimal conditions for the culture of the
grapevine are found,
Bodegas López carries out all the winemaking in its
premises (more than 26,000 m2 of covered area), situated
in the department of Maipú, Province of Mendoza.
